I recently stayed at Hotel Escalar for a summer getaway and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the village, making it convenient to explore. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounges were spacious and pleasant. The car park, although a bit tricky to maneuver, was conveniently located in the village. The hotel itself was warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast, at €10/day, was a great value and offered a typical Spanish selection. I especially appreciated the small swimming pool and the views from the rooftop.

The wifi only works in the sitting room and bar, which can be a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet could have a better selection for the price.
